Cockermouth Rock Festival is an non profit festival set up to help provide support in the way of funding for two great local causes, The Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance and the Cockermouth Mountain Rescue and to encourage and promote local bands and musicians.

Cockermouth Rock Festival, or CockRock as it's known locally was established in 2004 with the first festival held in 2005. The festival initially started off as a fund raiser for the Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance and Cockermouth Mountain Rescue but has since developed to include many more objectives.

CockRock is a non profit organisation and is ran by volunteers. The festival donates money every yar to The Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance & the Cockermouth Mountain Rescue, in the past we have also made donations to The Fire Fighters Chairty and Cancer Research UK.

In addition to many helpers the 2012 CockRock management team consists of 13 core members.

The whole team are looking forward to CockRock 2012 and have been busy reviewing many aspects of the festivals, many exciting changes are now planned and we can't wait to tell you all about them soon!
