Dear CockRock Fans,

Here at CockRock HQ we are working hard on developing CockRock 2012 and have some exciting changes and big improvements planned across the whole festival.

Over the years the festival has grown organically from half a day event to now a full 3 day extravaganza. We've listened to our fans opinions and have looked at all the things you love as well as the things you feel could be improved, we feel now is the right time to make some changes to the site to make it even better for our festival goers and are therefore introducing a revamped site layout for CockRock 2012.

Area's such as The Green @ CockRock (which was a new addition for CockRock 2011) will be developed further with more activities and entertainment for families.

We will also be introducing new area's to the festival including a new home for The Session Tent which will be expanded and developed further with more music and activities for Young People. Also on the cards is a new Reggae tent ran by Cumbria's only dedicated Reggae sound system.

The campsite's will also have a major revamp and big improvements are planned. We're also working hard to ensure the toilets will up to standard not only with the trusty Portaloos but we will also be incorporating more of the much loved Eco-loos. There's even a new major stage planned but we're keeping the details under wraps for now!

So due to these exciting changes we have been able to include some new types of tickets for CockRock 2012 which will include........ Day Tickets! We're making big changes to the site infrastructure and are delighted that we can now accommodate day tickets again.

We are also encouraging more families to attend and now all 12 and under's (accompanied by a ticket holding adult over 18) will have FREE entry!.

Adult tickets are still reasonably priced with a Weekend & Camping ticket costing just £60, a Young Adult ticket (13-17) has also been introduced.

Advance tickets for CockRock 2012 will be on sale from Saturday 10th March and outlets will be announced shortly.
