*All under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible ticket holding adult aged 18 or over for the duration of the festival. I.D will be checked and no exceptions or refunds will be made.
*One adult may accompany a maximum of four people aged 15 and under.
Alcohol is still permitted on the campsite within reason for personal consumption and as a rough guide this is limited to 50 units per person for the weekend.
There will be no re-entry with alcohol at any point.
Although we have some fantastic reasonably priced bars on site for those of you that fancy a cold pint or two!
We aim to make arriving at CockRock as easy as possible, after all it is the start of your holiday! On arrival you will have a choice of car parks and campsites, simply ask our friendly stewards for directions and they will be happy to help.
On site we have plenty of parking. Unfortunately due to Health & Safety reasons cars will no longer be allowed to park next to tents, there will now be three separate car park's one for Day ticket holders and one for Weekend ticket holders and one for those who wish to camp in quiet camping.
This is a decision we haven't taken lightly and following feedback from CockRock 2011 it was decided this is the best way forward for CockRock. As we are responsible for everyone's safety at the festival we feel that separating cars and tents will ensure that we create a safe and happy environment for our festival goers to enable them to enjoy their experience at CockRock.
Whilst we cannot take responsibility for your belongings the car parks are surrounded by fencing, will be adequately lit and there will one entrance in and one entrance out both of which will be manned by security. Both car parks can be seen from the campsites so will be in full view.
However we would like to point out the car parks are only a matter of minutes away from the campsite, there is no long walk and the campsite is easily accessible for all. We are also looking into options to help make carrying your camping equipment as easy as possible, after all we want you all to have a fab, stress free CockRock holiday! :)
Please note you will need to visit the Box Office on site to obtain your wristband before entering the campsites.
Campervans and Caravans are more than welcome at CockRock and there is no extra charge (you will need to purchase a weekend and camping ticket though) , we have a separate area for you to pitch up. Unfortunately due to site infrastructure changes you will not be allowed to park next to tents in the campsite but the two campsites are very close.
At CockRock we have two main campsites, they are Quiet & Family Camping and General camping. The Quiet & Family Camping is situated in a different field to General camping and will therefore provided a more relaxed area. There is no extra charge for Quiet & Family Camping, simply ask the stewards for directions on arrival.
On site there will be disabled toilets and a separate parking area. Guide dogs are permitted on all areas of the site. We will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have, to ensure these are met please e-mail us at mail@cockermouthrockfestival.com and we will do our best to help.
We are delighted that due to site infrastructure changes we are able to include Day Tickets again. A day ticket will be sold which will enable you access to the main arena on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Adult (18+) and Young Adult (13-17) day tickets will be sold but will be priced the same due to the already discounted price.
However Day ticket & Weekend ticket holders will have no access to the campsite and will not be allowed to bring any alcohol onto site.
On the campsite we have basic facilities, these include:
Running water , Toilets (including disabled toilets) and lighting.
Fires will not be permitted anywhere on the site with the exception of BBQ's (please make sure they are contained safely)
Please see General Information page
Please note the following items are strictly prohibited from being brought onto site:
Glass bottles or other products, Fireworks, Illegal substances, Weapons, Flammable liquids/substances
Generators , Sound systems .
The laws of the land are as relevant within the festival field as anywhere else.
Across the festival site there will be many bins and recycling facilities, please where possible use them! After CockRock 2011 it took us a full month to clear all the litter from the site, please help us to keep the site nice & clean for all festival goers and animals who's home it is and to save us a bit of hard graft!
Anyone found to be abusing the site by excessive litter may be asked to leave.
We want every festival goers to have a fantastic time at CockRock, therefore we take anti-social behaviour very seriously so if you see anything that you feel should be dealt with then we encourage you to report the problem to either our steward team or the security office on site is open 24 hours a day, security officers are also placed at key points throughout the festival.
Stewards and security will monitor the campsite when possible, however you should always ensure you leave no valuables in your tent, please look after them either lock them away in your vehicle or take them with you. This rule also applies to vehicles, make sure you leave them locked and secure and nothing valuable in sight.
CockRock will not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, theft, accident or injury incurred. So be safe!
